Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

Here's my latest cosmetic mod - bodyside moldings. I see many of you have gone the chrome & badge/emblem delete route, to get that clean look, but I'm old school and like the chrome & badge look. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I guess. Anyway, back to the moldings. I'm finding that the older my 2012 Jeep gets, the more paranoid I'm getting about door dings. My jeep is my daily driver, and usually ends up in a parking lot of some sort. Last summer, i got a fairly good size ding on the driver's side. Luckily, I was able to repair it. But, I figure if I'm going to drive the Jeep, I'm going to try to protect it the best I can. I've had the 3M chip guard on the front since I bought the Jeep, so I thought it was finally time to protect the sides, as well. I purchased a set of painted moldings made for the '14-'16 Grand Cherokees from CARiD. After a little negotiation, CARiD was able to special order the 2012 PDM mineral grey metallic paint finish from their molding supplier, for me. I installed the moldings today. Here's a couple of pic's.

Are these mono block forged?
