Parked in the ramp at DTW and next row over was a black SRT.. Not all black but had the grill rings.... A rare sighting indeed in these parts

Sorry for late response. DBA claim 2kg per rotor weight saving. A mate who did the same swap reckons its 5kg, so somewhere in that range I guess. For me, IMO, I couldn't tell any difference.

I'm in Aus, so got them from a local performance shop. DBA is an trusted Aussie brand so I don't know if you guys get them in the US? EDIT: someone posted this link earlier... DBAUSA | 52632BLKS - Survival/5000 Series rotors for 2011-15 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8

I'll get pics with wheels on later, but I don't have the rears on yet.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

I was going to get them but they don't do 5000series rear rotors

You can get a matching 4000 series rotor though but not 2 piece

The 5000 series can be had under $1k for the pair

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

Yes no rear 5000's. Something to do with the handbrake they said. So 4000's will have to do for now.

I got my fronts with a set of Ferodo Performance pads for $1300.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

I sold mine yesterday, Wednesday. I'm gonna make a for sale thread for my winter wheel set up (Goliaths) and the SRT reps in the appropriate section but figure it might get more attention here.
Here is a pic of each on the truck. The Goliaths/tires are in perfect condition and only have maybe 3k miles on them. The SRT reps (rims only) are also like new condition with less than 1500 miles. Even though I was never happy with the finish on them they would make a great wheel for someone not as picky as myself.

Trying to keep it local sale only like 100 miles from NYC. PM me if you are interested and for details.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

Dealer replaced a bad shock... And no more adaptive suspension codes.

Thank god! It was like a ride in a log wagon... On steel wheels... Hope the other shocks hold.

Dealer should've replaced both as a pair

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

I like your thinking... However the code was only related to right rear and they said that is all that is covered...

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

I had a bad shock in my pick up truck and they had replaced both. I asked why they did that when only one was bad they said they always replace both at the same time. Vehicle had 20k on it at the time. Dealer said the ride quality would would be compromised because one shock would have zero miles on it and the other would have 20k on it. Made sense to me!

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

Changed out all stock bulbs for LED's:

7440/921 Reverse (outer/inner)...have 2 sets of each I am trying now
-Pic shows Phillips 921 installed in the inner reverse; outer is OEM

194 Phillips interiors (domes/foot wells/rear cargo/rear passenger overheads/)
** I have a couple more on order as I am trying to find the right balance between bright/blue-hue and subtle/pure white LED lighting

Corsa (BLK) cat-back exhaust to be installed next week...PUMPED!

And the list keeps getting items crossed off, yet increases in size
