Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

Yea, but I'm not stock anymore - just trolling through

4.6 isn't bad at all new. It will loosen up and get a little faster with more miles.

I saw that you're not stock but 3.2 is impressive anyway you look at it.

I went out again this morning. Track mode w/o launch control, 40 degrees outside, 1/4 tank of gas

Installed the CLStech DRL harness today. Ended up turning off bumper DRL's via Uconnect so that only the headlights light up as DRL's.
Thank you to CLStech for a well put together harness, quality is on point!

Also installed OEM SRT emblems on the doors.

Question has anyone gone to the dealer and they tried to get you to do "emission cleaning service"? And have you done it?

Bath day today. Also waxed the rims to see if that'll help with brake dust.

I found that using hydrophobic sealer helped a lot with the amount of brake dust that sticks to the wheels, also makes it sooo much easier to clean off the brake dust.

Hawk pads are on the mod list for sure. Figured I'd try wax in the mean time to see if it helps.

Using this stuff. I know it won't 100% eliminate brake dust sticking but should help for cleaning.

plus it will help prevent the acidic dust from eating the finish as quickly in those many dam hard to reach spider nooks and crannies
