Well that was a bust! Picked this up from Amazon for the front lower grill. I couldn't figure out how to get to the back of the grill though in order to bolt on the back plate. Probably for the better ... the emblem feels kind of cheap. So much for my first mod!

have the same piece for over a year. actually really good quality and no signs of aging. There are a couple ways to install this. there is a thread on here specific on how to install if you want but its a bit complicated. The way i did it was remove the adaptive cruise control bezel. once its out you can have someone with small hands get in and screw it up. tight but easiest way.

I also have the same piece. Yes it's a pain to install but nothing to bad. Still looks new.

I'll have to give it another shot then. I was worried that it would start to look like crap after being out in the elements for a while. Thanks for the tip on the install

I did the mod where you make the gas pedal go all the way to the floor.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

it's a very Euro look, I rarely give people shit for their mods, it's their choice, something that makes them happy and they've put a lof of $ in to it by the looks of it.
Not my choice but good on him for being different.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

FINALLY broke the 4 second barrier!!! Track/sport mode, no launch control. It was my FIRST pull. 45 degrees outside, and IAT was running at 4 degrees above ambient.

IDK why the pic is posting sideways...I flipped it all 4 ways and it still posts like that. Sorry
