totally normal....180 is considered official "at temp" operating temp but technically still a bit cool to burn off moisture etc..takes the obvious 212 fo that....but if you are driving it "properly" you will be at 210-240 ish all day long....hammer down at track, 270 ish likely....these things run hot by design, don't like the trend, but you have no worries....worry if you see something truly knocking at 290/300...the factory trans oil has a 392 deg F flash point and others like Amsoil cook at 435+...

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

Thanks a lot. Had me a little worried. Took a road trip n when I got back I kept smelling antifreeze .. Yesterday I over headed and noticed I had no more coolant.. Filled up and am all good now. So I started looking at other temps n notice the trans was passed the 50% so I was considered.. Thanks for your help..

np, check for the pink crust (dried AF) anywhere around the top or front of motor..thermostat housing, waterpump, etc...if you are smelling AF it's leaking

Used the SRT as a real sport ute. Picked up 1100lbs of concrete pavers today. Srt handled it well considering all the weight. I took it really easy though. Started to squat like the IRS of a VW bug. Haha.

Ha ha! Reminds me of my trip to Lowe's. Tow mode actually locked down the rear pretty good.

Had the rack on last week to haul some 6x6x8 posts. I wish the wk2
Rear window would open separately
from the hatch like the wk1's did.

Found a guy that makes these inserts for the key fobs. He's got a website and he's on Instagram. @rebadgedesign

I also got a push start vinyl overlay.

Haha. He just makes the inserts.
The key fob was scratched so I painted it myself.

Sweet! What does he charge? I almost had a company make me 200 of them to sell but I got too busy. I got them down to about $2 each decal
