to take that idea further you can black out all the chrome if want to throw some coin at it.

Not messing with the window chrome with exception to maybe some black 3M vinyl.

I'll definitely try the black lug nuts. Need to order them.

Thanks for the insight and recommendations.

They're growing on me now that they've been mounted for two days. I ordered the black gorilla lugs. Should be here tomorrow.

Those are some great numbers your getting, nice work. How long from install did it take to get the tuning proper? I was following your other thread but didn't see any updates....

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

You could probably start your own thread on the specifics of the setup. That's impressive and makes me feel like I drive a tank now....oh wait....

I was using Diablo initially, going through Hemifever, but we just couldn't get it dialed in. The Diablo was having issues reading my AFR's and ultimately the SRT had become slower with the blower on it. I had to wait two weeks for a shop about 200 miles away to dyno tune it using HP tuners, that took a week and a half and we had several issues. Procharger mistakenly sent me a 10lbs pulley instead of the 6psi I had ordered. I had to get another thermostat since my 185 wasn't opening until 200 degrees. My front two O2 sensors had to be moved further down the headers because at idle it was running too rich. It literally seemed like I wasn't going to get this thing running the way I had hoped. Finally the shop (Dings Car Care) was able to dial it in, using a very conservative tune and now this thing runs incredibly. The SRT pistons and rods are garbage so we had to be really careful to not push it too hard. All said and done now, 560hp to all 4 wheels, it shifts extremely smooth unlike stock which shifts really hard. I'm done spending on it for a while, but in the future I want to get drop in pistons and rods, add the 10psi pulley and have methanol injection.

Are you in Vancouver Washington or Canada? I had all the tuning done in Vancouver Washington at Dings Auto Care, Troy and his guys did a great job and were very thorough. As far as other mods, I have OBX long tube headers, 87mm throttle body, EBC slotted rotors and pads, 185 thermostat and an X-pipe. Tuning was more expensive than I had hoped for due to a few issues with O2 sensors, thermostat and fuel pump. I'm sadly about $13K into it right now and don't plan on spending anymore for a little while. You could certainly do it a little cheaper, I had to learn a few lessons the hard way. Hit me up if you want me to give you all the details on this project as well as contact names and numbers to help you if you plan on doing a similar build. The next upgrades will certainly be drop in pistons and rods and methanol injection. We have a conservative tune at 6psi using HP tuners. Procharger mistakenly sent me a 10psi pulley with my kit, let me keep it and sent the correct one 6psi. Even on a conservative tune we are still getting 560hp to all 4 wheels.
