Thank you, it's running really well, a lot better than I had hoped for. I do have a thread for this project, but I could certainly go into more detail on the project. Let me know if you've got any questions about what all has been done and if you're interested in doing a similar build. I can give you names and contact info for all the places I had to order through (since it's difficult to find a one stop shop).

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

I'm dropping my SRT off this evening so that it can undergo a few things tomorrow. Brembo Cross Drilled Sport Rotors, Hawk and Stoptech pads, RM Mid Springs and Mufflex "kit." I'll report back tomorrow in a new thread with pictures of the transformation my vehicle has made in the short two weeks I've owned it.

Tuning was more expensive than I had hoped for due to a few issues with O2 sensors, thermostat and fuel pump. I'm sadly about $13K into it right now and don't plan on spending anymore for a little while. You could certainly do it a little cheaper, I had to learn a few lessons the hard way. Hit me up if you want me to give you all the details on this project as well as contact names and numbers to help you if you plan on doing a similar build. The next upgrades will certainly be drop in pistons and rods and methanol injection. We have a conservative tune at 6psi using HP tuners. Procharger mistakenly sent me a 10psi pulley with my kit, let me keep it and sent the correct one 6psi. Even on a conservative tune we are still getting 560hp to all 4 wheels.

From Canada sadly, but I'm planing to take my vacation in US and finish the work in 2weeks by guys like you mentioned and have done force induction on a jeep srt before. Thanks for you important info! Sure, and Vancouver to Vancouver is not too far! will DM you later haha, I think I would go Demonpeformance maybe they would save me on the tuning.

Thanks! Yes it says SRT in the center cap. Got the wheels from a popular west coast shop on ebay.

No spacer but I seriously have only about 1mm between the caliper and spokes.

What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

Well I got my SRT back today. In the two weeks I've owned it I've done the following

Brembo Cross Drilled Sport Rotors
Hawk HPS front pads
Stoptech rear pads
AFE Momentum GT intake
Mufflex kit
Debadged
Black SRT badges on front doors
Black 392 / HEMI badge on rear (hides a scratch).
Added SRT trailer cover with reflective SRT sticker
20% tint on front two windows and 5% tint on all rear windows
Interior LED conversion
Black Goliath replica wheels on Yokohama Parada Spec X tires
RM mid springs
Black Vapor grill rings

That's all I can remember. I went a little nuts.

John

Solid build!! Nice 👍🏼👍🏼

Where did you score the white reflective SRT sticker for hitch?
How is the ride now with drop? Alignment done?
Opinion on mufflex kit?

Thx man.

I got the reflective decal from a guy on fleabay.

As for ride with the drop, I cannot say that I realize a huge difference yet. With that having been said, I have only been behind the wheel of an SRT for about two and a half weeks now and may not have enough experience with the stock ride/ handling.

Alignment was done today and I posted my results in another thread though will repost the picture of the results here.

As for Mufflex, it is great. On launch you will hear a nice back fire / gargle from between 1 and 2 and again between 2 and 3. When downshifting there is a pronounced increase in exhaust note. I ran my best 0-60 time tonight (though could be due to cooler air this evening of about 68*). I can say that I have no clue why you'd want to spend $1k+ for a catback system when the Mufflex system does a fantastic job at efficiently increasing exhaust volume while not adding to drone while cruising or decreasing performance due to less back pressure. Now I could certainly be wrong in my assessment and I'm sure someone will correct me if I am in fact wrong, though these are my initial finding.

Thanks for the questions!

John

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

Going to pick mine up from the stealership today after sitting there for 2 weeks while they replaced 3 fender flares and waited for over 9 days to receive 2 new headlight modules to fix the steering directed headlights. Owned it since march and it has been in the dealer 5 or 6 times each time for a week or more. Starting to get ridiculous now.
