Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

I deleted my resonators with a kit, and noticed the flutter sound I hear in yours. I held the valves open and then moved the spring end 2 locations so it was full open. No, I didn't lose mpg's... No still run a 4.8sec 0-60 just about every time... But I DO have a great sounding v8 rumble.

People have said you lose low-end doing this. I find it hard to believe that something I could push open with my finger could induce enough back- pressure to change anything that is 6.4L and has 10.9 compression. But, when you dyno it, could you try this out? If it works out your exhaust will sound way better. Mine still goes into mds about the same amount too.

Swapped in some 3000k yellow H11 bulbs tonight. Wanted to do something a little different from matching the headlights. Yellow fogs are also more functional in inclement weather. I may go ahead and do an actual HID kit in 3000k at some point. I only intend to use the fogs in inclement weather so no need to match either...

The highlight of the install was how easy it was to get behind the wheel well liner. As suggested by other members, drilled out existing plastic rivets and pulled it back a bit for access. I used screw in plastic rivets as replacements. They seem to hold really well and will allow for easy access in the future.

Couple crappy cell phone pics. Doesn't do the lights must justice....

Nice. I've never seen screw in rivets I'll have to look I to those. I just used push type ones on mine and they work but are going to be toast when I remove them next time.

I made the video of the resonator delete I owed you guys. Hope there are no issues. Let me know what you think. $300 kit, and valves held open under their own pressure. NO CEL's, No noticable power loss or MPG loss.
