Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

Is this something you can do yourself if you have no experience at all in wraps or should I get a professional to do it?

Also do you take the trim off or install it with the trim in place?

Use a professional. Leave the trim on. If it was easy to take the trim off I would have painted it.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

Yep, guessed that was the reason why no one was painting them. Thanks.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

The rear trim piece is built into the glass. Mine was damaged on shipping so I saw what it took to get that piece out... The rest can come off, but good luck not bending them with the tape and what not.

I did mine myself and it looks great, just took me longer than a pro I'm sure. But, I like to tinker and it gave me an excuse to sit in the garage and watch football

sorry I stand corrected Josh. 87mm is the outside diameter of the throttle body! Dan at the fastman TB hones them out from the standard 81mm to 84mm. So it's an oversized 84mm for the 6.4L hemi. He said if you oversize them too much you can actually loose high end torque.....too much airflow. 84mm seems to be the happy medium. So there you go......
