Knifeless tape rocks. Pretty cool how the scratches come out with a little heat...

I would definitely recommend working with smaller flat pieces first to get a feel of how this material works. It is forgiving and heat usually gets things back in line (if you don't make your cuts). Bottom time it takes time to get good.

Here's my finished product...

OK..OK...Maybe I was getting a little bit "Schmoopie" What can I say...it was very late and I might have had more than a couple of beers.
But I still think that rear Jeep logo is a nice touch!

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

Just had a nice (and my first) 0-100 in 4.5 seconds !! A good improvement over my previous best of 4.7. This truck is incredible, I love her.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

I took possession of my throttlebody finally. Dan was fast in sending, I was slow on patience... couldn't wait to get this set up!

I have the other parts of the puzzle so tomorrow the install for my new parts goes down.

bwoody 4" cold air intake
thefastman 87mm throttlebody
bwoody sway bar links

all get set up tomorrow

the quality on Dan's work is great!

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

I ran mine into my mailbox. >

My driveway goes down, in and around and is a bit awkward even going front first. I was backing into my driveway after a wash when some dickhead in a Camry came screaming down the street not paying attention to the 3 tonne Jeep in his wake. I hit the gas a little too much to avoid him and hit my mailbox. I was half tempted to chase him down but was more worried about the damage done. Mailbox bent back into position.

Luckily I didn't hit the big gum tree which was only millimeters away. Call it a scratch but enough damage but enough to piss me off.

My first scar.
