I wish buddy, the SRT in the hitch cover is too big for the illuminated logo, and my rear diffuser and cover are carbon fiber so I can't go experimenting with it. It's the reflective sticker.
Good Lord! That is freaking gorgeous! The painted roof should be an option from the factory. Does the headlight tint affect the light output much? Now I'm second guess ordering billet silver.
Don't regret it one second the most exotic color for the SRT! Black would normally be my option but since I was gonna black out the grill and emblems there wouldn't be any contrast with the black SRT. Billet silver is the perfect color for these changes enjoy!
how is the light output of the tail lights now tinted…..I am thinking of doing a light tint…any pics of how bright your setup is now tinted? rig looks great!!!
My tails are fine tinted, light output is virtually the same when they are on. At night you really can't tell at all that they are tinted. Here are mine during the day:
i did it on my WK2 altitude JGC as well, i used the darkest option they have, looks good during the day, and at night the light shines thru so easily you can barely tell its on, i kno its not an SRT but i just follow this thread, thought maybe i can help thanks
Added the stainless "Grand Cherokee" sill plates below my SRT door sill inserts.
Also took apart a 2014 airbag to take a peek inside (actually to help a fellow forum member remove the top airbag cover such that he could wrap it with suede / Alcantara)
Yes, it is 82212118. There are a ton of knockoffs on Ebay and the like but I bought the OEM ones.
The lighting wasn't very good in my pictures and the sills are just stamped with no painting. The lighting made it look like the recessed portion was painted black and it is not.
Added a 28 foot travel trailer and went camping. Is that srt abuse....
Tows very well. Just manually shift so the tow shift patterns don't
over rev like it's trying to pull twice the weight.
It dropped about almost an inch with the 800lb tongue but I have the load leveler bars that level it right back after they are installed. Pictured I'd just removed them and they are laying on the ground below the front storage on the trailer.
Hi lankness Your tinted tails look great. I'am thinking of ordering some laminX today for my Overland. Wish I would Have thought of this 2 days ago when I changed my tail bezels out from chrome to black. Probably would have made the job easier. Will probably do the headlights also so everything looks uniform. Did you do the installation yourself or have it done.
Slapped a new set of Pirelli All Season Verdes on at the dealership after the lovely P-Zeros were bald at 12,700 miles. Awesome. For those that are nearing annual tire replacement time Chrysler is currently running a "Buy Three, Get One for $1" which expires at the end of May. With that deal and install fees and taxes it was still below a shipped to my door TireRack.com price. Both stock tire options are included in that promotion.
Also finally swapped out the Jeep centercaps for the 2015 SRT logoed ones.
