I hear you but I feel like that's what everyone puts it. I really like where it is and it looks much better in person. Still, it's that or going back to nothing at all.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

Not today, but about 2 weeks ago (been busy ).

Anyways - emptied the catch can:

I've used catch cans for years and this is the first time I've seen oil coming out looking usable - it's always been milky in the past.

In any case, sure glad I have it on there. This was after 5k miles.

When you see that...aren't you glad you installed the catch can? I really think it's the first accessory any Hemi owner should consider!

Question is, what would this oil do to the engine if there was no catch can ?

It has something to do with the retarding of the ignition by the PCM when the oil mixes with the air/fuel mixture.. the ignition retard will lower your power and torque.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

Hmm I see. I asked my service center about a catch can and they seemed confused to what it is ... I want to get one but have them fix it for me, is that risky due to the fact they don't know what it is ? (I want to avoid doing it myself to keep my warranty).

It's a simple installation... and this mod will not void the warranty.

The service center should know how to install the catch can, when they see it. Make sure you order the catch can together with the PCM bracket.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I think all BT cans now come with the PCM bracket included.
