Wow....??
I think the RM mids are the only other possible choice for me. But I'm content with eibach height for now.
Sad to see another bwoody fail.

That's not even settled yet.

Yeah it's a little bit lower now

And much much lower than the specs advise

Alignment is good, and if I modified the shocks a little and chopped down the bump stops some more, it'd probably ride ok

But I'm not after that kind of drop, if they were 15-20mm higher in the front and 25-30mm higher in the rear I'd be happy, and they'd be close to what is advertised

It's almost as if they rebrand the road magnets and sent me the extremes...

Now why din't you just get the Mids did RM or someone (US) Piss you off ? Just asking because I thinght it was well advertised that RM was the Spring to get?

I've said it before all smoke and mirrors coming out of that camp and a lot of talk. Scott and myself made a post about it here someplace where someone was trying to push his springs making false claims about RM and we explained he basically copied RM and has some BS sales pitch of increasing tow capacity and we explained that's just a pitch since they where dropped by RM from Shady sales techniques and lack of customer support among other things they did. The majority made RM #1 not us and people have no issues not sure their is even another spring needed in the market except one ;) and WE are working on that spring now! They should be released next spring!

Sorry to see you fell for all the progressive Hoopla!!

Haha no problem, I understand

Good info, options are always good. Although I think the RM mids are the best choice, I'm content with my current eibachs... Look forward to their improvements.

I know and believe it!

Oh as far as Eibach doing another set not sure it's necessary not sure what their gonna do that hasn't been done already we have 3 good ways to lower with RM and theirs only one thing that is left and Eibach don't have a clue as to what that even is because their late to the party!! So no matter what they release IMO their not even gonna come close to the 3 RM options and if they do they will be more money and do the same as 1 of the RM options so what's the point? Aside from that RM has a 100% satisfaction guarantee unlike any one else!

For me, it's all about price. A small-runs US company sets its price accordingly to its main market. RM's US domestic market price is perfectly acceptable but since the fast rise of the US dollar, exports are due to suffer.

Remember, in canada, we get the same thing for $1 than you do in your market in the US.
Which means, that when we import something ourself it's 33% more expensive than its equivalent product, sold locally. In 99% of cases, it's not worth it.

At $450, including shipping, plus VAT, the RM springs would cost me:
(450*1.33)*1.15 = $688

Would anyone in the US pay $688 USD for a set of springs? Absolutely not.

Since Eibach has a larger global market share, they have a proper distribution network and provide the product at a local market price.

The fact that Eibach has recognized that people didn't like the initial product they released and went back to the drawing board, that pleases me and I feel like they care about offering a better product. Couple that with a decent market price and we've got a very respectable proposition.

I've personally sold 100's of sets to Canada and most people have shipping stores in the USA. Their are also shops that sell RM their because we supply them too.

Aside from that if your talking about pinching pennies 100-200.00 over a set of springs may be you should leave the tuck alone!

WHY you ask because your going to have to buy Control arms, Front,Rear and End links or your going to burn through tires at 400.00 Ea+.

So if springs are worth that much of an analysis into government taxes and mark ups to you I would stay stock because springs done properly are going to cost you more than your 100-200 more than the USA delivered price at the end of the day.

Aussy guys are paying well over this price for springs with Eibachs available because their a superior spring.

On people paying 688.00 for springs in the USA I have well over a dozen who actually payed more than that LOL. They bought Eibachs Rm Mids and RM extremes to play with. So it really comes down to financial status I guess and wanting to pay to play JMO.

So...your gonna wait on eibachs to save a few dollars when the RMs will still be superior? Eibach cant make springs for these beasts...weve seen it the last 2 generations of SRT jeeps. Eibach went back to the drawing board on the gen 1 jeep srt and didnt do any better. It kinda pisses me off that they rush and INFERIOR product to production just to sell a few sets to th first buyers if the jeeps....which is what they did here. Their first drop springs are VERY inferior to the Roadmagnets in all dimensions. I don't care if they come out with 10 new variations and give them away....they misled the entire jeep srt community with their first set of springs.

Every decision is emotional. Look it up, that's the truth.

In my case, Black Ops, you've been rude, condescending and haven't done a single thing to entice me to buy from you. I haven't said anything up to now but this last post is the cherry on top.

It seems like this forum is "The Black Ops Show" and most people enjoy your bullying and bad manners.

This shit doesn't work on me. Good for you if you don't mind loosing a new prospective customer. I've budgeted about 30k for mods on this car. None of it is going your way.

I tried to communicate with you by email, you treated me like shit. Same on the forum. You chose to reject my business.

Sorry you feel this way!

I'm helping you and trying to make you understand Eibachs and or RM will cost you more than the messily 100-200 your trying to save and analyze! I know what it takes and explain that it's simple!

I'm not a Key Board bully and will not swear back at you or call you names!

If you want to talk smack about me so be it good luck with your jeep

Please show . some proof of your outrageous accusations cause blackops has a reputation as the best when it comes to customer service. He's just being honest with you....and it seems you are a bit emotional with your response. Maybe take a step back and rethink your response as blackops has the ultimate respect from 99.9% of the jeep world. I see it as him trying to save you some money and heartache. Believe me....ive been there. I had the eibachs as thats all that was out at the time. They sucked ass...rode like shit and cost me money to install and to uninstall. Why mess with a company that couldnt do.it right the first time? Thats it. Weve been.messing with this platform.for years....why not heed our info and suggestions? We have the experience. ....just saying....

I think Chad's delivery can be misinterpreted. I'm sure @Ollie feels that he is rude from him being so blunt most times...

Had eibachs for a year, they didn't lower the car much, and road hard, and with the black ops end links, decent handling, but stiff. The front suspension all had to be replaced most likely from the combination of awful Michigan roads and the spring that just beat the hell out of everything.

Switched to the RM mids along with the rear control arms and links and the look is much better, ride is 100 percent better and can corner like on rails. It is a good setup and Chad treated me Pretty good. I couldn't give away my eibachs so I sent them to the scraper.

Ahh, a suspension debate.. I have had Eibach (lasted 100 miles), RM mid drop (lasted 200 miles) & the RM hybrid kit (3k miles). The RM hybrid kit Is by car the best look/handling when it comes to springs. As with any suspension mod, you'll need control arms, sway bar links, etc.. The stock parts are engineered to work at the stock height, guys complaining about needing extra components should just leave the suspension alone or buy a Honda Civic and cut the springs. Eibach springs were a huge disappointment (they were on the wk1 as well, I should of known better). If you want a stock handling jeep, that's 1/4" lower, go with eibachs. Mid drop isn't bad at all, but I preferred lower so I went with the hybrid kit which handled amazing compared to the others. To keep it short & sweet, stick with RM, you won't be disappointed.
