Although it can be flattering, I've had a few yabos come up asking me, almost rudely how many Kilowatts the beast has. Here's the answer, raised chrome '344' on the opposite side of liftgate SRT. And a reminder to those guys with FPV and HSV's that they aren't as invincible as they think they are or tell they're friends they are.
Wondering if I should've put 392 instead.
Note the liftgate alignment. That will be fixed soon.
Got the paint and interior, wheels and calipers coated with ceramic pro 9h. Also done some rebadging of the beast. I was sitting in it yesterday in the driveway showing a mate, then accidentally spilt my beer on the passenger seat, it just beaded off and ran to the floor mat then sat there beaded, on top of mat, nice and easy to clean up, a bit soaked through the perforations in the vented seats though, but all in all it done its job well, I'd recommend it.
I put the SRT badge there because when I removed the jeep emblem I wasn't too careful and put a tiny little dent where the p was, so after I got the paint protection on I got the detailer to put the badge on to cover it. It's the same as the rear SRT emblem. Thanks SRTWIL, I like it too.
Glad you posted a pic. I emptied mine with the oil change and it looked like coffee with creamer. It scared me until I took the drain plug out. The oil there was fine. Condensation would be my guess... But yes, a definite!
Finally got a good wash and dry, and interior cleaning this evening after a day in the 40s... Which melted and dried most of the roads, After the great ice storm of 2013, and 2 weeks below freezing, it was way past due. Noticed my winter rims had a few pothole wounds, winter is a b!tch on vehicles...
Also emptied the catch can.. Damn thing was damn near full! Emptied it end of October, 2000 miles later... Must be the cold wet weather.... Glad I added it
Lastly, ordered a hydro shield for the injen intake... Thanks to a post on this forum! With the plastic piece removed, I can see salt spray all in side near the intake...
He had the car for a couple of days, I only got the one layer, but I think I might take it back in for a couple more coats in six to eight months, I'll see how it goes.
The interior smells fine, just like a brand new car I guess, I couldn't notice any different smells. I was away while it was getting done and didn't quiz him to much on what exactly he does, I let his website and Facebook page do the talking, it looks like he is pretty experienced, he actually had to work Christmas Day to get me my ride back ready for when I flew in. If your in Brisbane the business is Auto Glamour.
The detailer recommended just one coat as I don't use it as a daily driver as I'm only home 1 week out of every 4. He said u can layer it up to 5 times but that's more for "wank factor", His words.. But I think 3 would be good, water beads off the paintwork like its been waxed.
For exterior and interiors, rims and calipers ran about a g. I paid a bit extra for debadging, rebadging. Extra coats would be additional cost also.
Installed the SRT badge from phillysrt. I moved it a little more to the right by drilling a hole in the plastic grill area. I think it looks better that way. You don't have to take off the bumper to install this, just the bottom black under tray that is our brake cooling ducts.
Agree with the placement. Matches the placement and spacing on the rear liftgate. Well done. I think I'll be doing the same.
I had the SRT washed today at the local mall while I was shopping. Came back and saw some guy with a BMW 335 walking around the SRT checking it out. He asked me in disbelief if it actually had a 6.4L V8 in it as per the decals. I'm like "...yeah, it's a sledgehammer" He responds "...awesome, what do you need all that for?". I simply smiled, wished him a Happy New Year, hopped in the car and drove off.
People shouldn't ask questions they already know the answers to.

I was washing mine late Saturday and got that.... Someone is watching you feeling a guy and his lady in an avalanche were watching... I just kept drying and they said they had a 2007 and it was just like mine... I said. Well not quite this is a 14... Feel free to check it out. They said wow looks great and were jealous
Had a guy that parked in front of me at Dillards take pics of mine. Said he'd never seen on in person. He drove a SRT caliber. Said he had done some stuff to it and had 400 hp but couldn't go anywhere from a low speed due to tire spin, front wheel drive. He said his buddy was going to die when he saw the pics. I didn't ask.
Now if it would only snow... I have been running winter wheels/tires for the past month and no damn snow. I'm not pissed, but I'd much rather have my BFG KDW2's on!
Finally got my GTHaus exhaust installed! Had to have the exhaust extension overnighted to me... but since I tossed the factory exhaust tip clamps, Im driving around with no tips. So now I need to get more parts to complete the install but its on and
IT SOUNDS GOOD!!!!!
sweet. lets see some picts/vids. i'm trying to decide if I want to spend 700 for the borla or $3k for the GTHaus.... the more I see/hear the GT It makes me want to go that way but for 2300 I can also get wheels/tires..... decisions decisions..
Installed kooks long tube headers today and a custom tune to round out my system. Bad news, it took forever to do the header instal, around10 hours of labor! Good news, no check engine light.....at all! Lots of more horses under the hood to say the least.....not sure on the exact number until I dyno her. I would say it's close to 40HP though. I have a small clip of a start up but my daughter and her new "Furby" came on the scene.....so had to cut it short. Personally, the phone does not let you really hear and feel the true rumble and vibration that is coming out of the tail end of that borla ATAK muffler system! I'll post pics and probably some more video in some days to come. Ummm sorry, I just realized that you can't post videos on this thread....lol. Well any way, it sounds great and lots of power to show. Here are some pics of the headers laid out in my drive one day before the instal. That's all I got folks.....Merry New Year! Woohoo 2014
