here is what i used, i replaced all interior lights except 2 front overhead console ones (integrated into consule and cannot be removed but rear overhead console ones can) and glove box (can't figure how to remove that one easily yet).

To do the glovebox, remove the panel on the right front in the door jamb. It just pulls off - but try to do it straight out so that you don't bend or break the top right plastic tab. Once that panel is out of the way you can get to the light from there. Hope that makes sense

finished it finally before reading your post. still a PITA to get out, ended up wrapping the needle nose plier tips with a rubber glove and approached from inside the compartment with my left hand and supported bulb with right hand from panel opening on right side.
