What is normal transmission temp for the new 8 speed?

Just wondering what the normal operating temperature should be on these 8 speeds. On my 2012 it usually ran between 172 and 178. Looking at the transmission temperature gauge on my 2014, it's reading between 199 and 205. This was in normal driving, stop and go traffic, it's only on the 60s today.

Is that normal or what is yours reading?

Mine reads the same. I thought it was high, but it reads that consistently and so does yours so I assume we are good.

We should have a sticky or some FAQ of all the operating temps on the new setup.
