It was right at 1 inch... More or less 1 or 2/10th is definitely possible but 1 inch is pretty well spot on. It really is a minor drop.

Yes, it settled a lot but it did so quickly. When I first dropped it off the floor jacks it was sitting just as high as stock. The first half inch happened within a day or two. For us it was done within a week, that may be more or less a few days based on miles driven and road conditions I am sure.

This is at least the 6th vehicle I have put lowering springs on, I have always waited 2 weeks before getting an alignment and never had enough settling after that to negatively affect tire wear..

That would be a Perfect mod for when I'm having a Mid-life Crisis

For now I don't see how I can use that exhaust with a 3 years old in the car all the time

Gotta disagree. Nothing but good things to say. Truck runs flawlessly and tune is very conservative and keeps boost and AFR's where they need to be for stock bottom end. 3k miles since install and not a single hiccup. Took truck to the local track a few weeks ago and ran 11.8. Sure...yours looks great with all the mods you've done but I'll outrun ya any day...just saying.

Re: What is the best mod you've done to your SRT Jeep?

its not all about out running someone in the 1/4 mile and my stock jeep would stay right with yours where it really matters. Just use caution...got word from another friend yesterday of his blown motor with the same kit you have. so sorry for the bluntness...then factor that in with j\how RIPP used this forum and members to spread the word about their product and then not follow through with their promises.

I can't comment on what Ripp did or didn't do because I wasn't even aware of any broken promises. My point was...the jeep is no different than any other vehicle and Ripps FI kit is no different than any other companies FI kit. If your willing to put a power adder on a vehicle...than be prepared for possible breakage. We all know these motors weren't built for high boost so stay conservative and cross your fingers. 😜. You gotta pay to play

Why drop it? Don't it look cool enough stock height, or is it better handling your getting doing this? ..From a newbie.
