Ask the sales/service folks about detailers in your area that do good work, where you probably want it clayed, then drop nu finish or similar on it before waxing. This presumes you want the shiniest vehicle in Arizona or will keep it long enough that this type of TLC can pay back should you want/need to sell it.
If you have buddies with glassy looking vehicles, they may know good detailers as well.
Or, grab a bottle of Watkins Red Liniment, contact the detailing supply vendors here, and make sure you grease up your elbows...
