Again, I personally plan on a set of snow tires for this coming winter.

For driving the rest of the year, the Yokohamas were nice albeit loud after a few thousand miles.
If you get a ton of snow buy some 20x9 WK1 SRT reps and 265/50/20 Blizak dmv-1 or something.
The Parada X are going to be garbage for snow. tire rack even rates them a 6 while the DWS are 8.9

I found the Conti DWS's are amazing in 4-6" of snow. Mine is a Tank and #SRTSNOWPLOW

Anymore and ill just drive the lifted WJ with Ko2's

Re: What Tires are your Favorite?

After heaps of shopping and prices I just bought a set of Michilin lattuide sport 3 295/40 20.
They were designed for the Porsche Cayenne have to be better then these over priced run flats.

factory Pirelli run flates $790 aud each

Michilin on sale $ 488 each fitted

Great deal on new pzero's. I've dealt with Detroit Wheel & Tire and they are great. Price is shipped. I'm local so I'm going to see if they have a pick up price. Says they have 3 sets.

I can't think of any benefit from a lower profile tire on an SRT other than cost savings. IMO stick with the stock size if you're running the stock wheels.

I have General Grabber UHP's right now and they're my favorite out of the three I've tried. Parada Spec-x and Hankook RH06 were the others.

Re: What Tires are your Favorite?

Blows my mind that the Pirelli run flats even the Verde are $450 a piece. I'm running the yoko paradas and despite the improved ride and sound they disappoint heavily in the handling. There is no other option to the run flats.

The sidewall stiffness is key for these heavy beasts. It's an SRT after all and if you compromise on your tire then what's the point of owning it. SRT chose that option for the handling not the safety. Mainly, I'm upset about the fact that FCA didn't secure a reasonable deal with Pirelli to make these tires affordable..

Re: What Tires are your Favorite?

I have the Toyo Proxes STII's...have had them on for over 9k miles and LOVE them! MPG's went up (when not driving it like an SRT), tread wear has been amazing and I dig the look/tread pattern on them. The other option I looked at was the Conti's DWS (Dad put these on his Cayenne Turbo, and I had them on my 08' that was running SRT staggered wheels). I could not believe how quickly the run-flats wore out and was not going to spend $2k every year.

The Toyo's have a 50k mile "warranty" through Big Brand and unlimited alignments/rotations...I live in SoCal so weather doesn't play into the equation much...but IMO you could not go wrong with either of those tires.

Let us know what you decide!
