Well Jeep is American Brand. Others you mentioned are not.

?? Neither are the others I mentioned, yet they are able to give competitive warranties on their products at this price point.

I'm unclear on your point, Yes Jeep is American (although that could be debated now) and as you pointed out Jeep is able to give competitive warranties on all their other products other the SRT model except for in the US, which was my original point.

Shawn.

Re: what would you change on the 2014 Jeep SRT?

*Export model: Folding mirrors fold in when car turns off. Maybe CLStech can do something for us :
*All lights color matched. Looks weird when fog lights, DRLs and normal beams are different.
*Full memory (radio, media, heated seats, heated steering wheel, etc) not just seats and mirrors.
*No carbon fibre option. Brushed aluminum or titanium would be nice. Real Carbon fibre is nice but when you see it on Hyundai's and Kia's it's time to move on.
*Better foam in front seats. You seem to sit 'on' the seats, not 'in' them.
*CD player delete or relocation.
*Better steering wheel. Solid and nice but that 'flat bottom' seems a bit half ass. Have a look at Audi's...very nice.
*Programmable shift lights in the EVIC like the Hellcat.
*Better SRT pages. Quick access on one page would be nice instead of having to scroll down to see the second set of gauges.
*HUD definitely.
*Actual apps for export.
*Actual usable roof rack rails.
*No Run Flats.
*Flipper Glass. Love it.
*proper Pre-delivery and quality control from factory and dealer.

Lots of positives though. Huge bargain and I love those little hooks on the back of the seats for groceries.

Re: what would you change on the 2014 Jeep SRT?

more storage compartments, a real floor shifter, something like Hurst that really moves, folding pwr mirrors, relocation of assist handles from over the front doors to the front windshield pillars, a built in pad, on the door window sill that you could rest your elbow on,
a real wood inside trim option, lighted SRT door sills, CAI option,a 12V pwr strip under the dash that you could use to easily attach wiring for any after market added accessories, just some of my thoughts
