what would you change on the 2014 Jeep SRT?

stock? Just curious.....I think I would add power folding mirrors. That's about it. Maybe add more color options for paint.

Re: what would you change on the 2014 Jeep SRT?

I would add a spark-plug like piece in the back of the exhaust pipe and a small fuel injector button on the steering wheel to spray just a little fuel toward the spark so you can shoot flames out the back at your leisure.

22's, powerfully mirrors, delete run flats!, suede headliner, LTE network, a true cold air intake, lane departure warning, lower suspension option (tows less, but comes like it from jeep), black out chrome option, some nice green color, or a blue

I wish it had 50 more hp. Once you get over 90 mph acceleration falls off considerably

Re: what would you change on the 2014 Jeep SRT?

While I love my car, I would change the following:
Have the car remember the last audio settings. How hard is it for the UC to keep Shuffle ticked when playing SD Card ?

Have the last screen show on the UC, such as the SRT pages, so we do not need to go through the menu each time.....

Foot operated park brake. It annoyed me in the '11 model and still annoys me.
Remember on our Export RHD cars, the foot bake is a lot further forward, as it is against the transmission tunnel.

I would like to see Apps on the Export model (I will swap it for the folding mirrors), as I like to listen to Pandora.

White LED's in the fog lights, saves me changing them.

Flipper Glass....man I miss that feature

Re: what would you change on the 2014 Jeep SRT?

Swap the stupid flappy gear shift paddles for shifting via the gear stick, this just shits me.
Memory for the air con
Agree with the foot operated brake, gets in the way

Re: what would you change on the 2014 Jeep SRT?

If you mean what should have been included within the current price point?:
1. 21" wheels. Factory 22s are too big for an SUV of this size. Mercedes knows the market better than anyone and that's what their performance SUVs get. To be clear, I'm talking OEM. This is a performance vehicle after all, not a bling machine. Nothing wrong with aftermarket 22s. Any bigger than that and you need to get a different vehicle.
2. Real Alcantara seats and door inserts, not the micro-suede knock off stuff we have
3. Alcantara headliner - which BTW they seem to have fixed
4. Power Fold Mirrors
5. The full daytime running lamps like the CLStech system
6. Center Exhaust option for those without tow package.

Now if we are talking dream wish list that's a whole different deal. For that you'd have to see my WK3 wishlist thread

Performance options like an all aluminum 6.4 with forged internals with some kind of FI. Also, being able to fully tune. Yeah I know it would rocket the price some but at least give people the choice.

Re: what would you change on the 2014 Jeep SRT?

  1. Better quality control. It's silly how the panels on my wife's Santa Fe are way more perfectly aligned compared to mine. How is that freaking possible.
  2. A tad more powerful.
  3. Lower riding height from the factory, combined with larger, lighter rims.
  4. More color options and the ability to special order for an extra fee. Blacked out version, carbon fiber parts (diffusers, mirrors) etc etc. from the factory.
