Only 3 vehicles have the 8.4 screen - the Charger, 300 and the Journey. The new 2013 Dodge Dart will be the 4th vehicle. These vehicles have the new "powernet" electrical systems which was not quite ready when the Grand Cherokee was launched earlier.
The Challenger SRT does not have the 8.4 screen, and will not be getting it for the 2013 model year.
Last I checked the Jeep GC will be getting the new radio for the 2014 model year refresh. In fact, it may have the upcoming 2nd gen 8.4 radios which, among other new features, will have a "smart-touch" screen.
As everyone knows, the GC is selling extremely well. They do not need a lot of new features to keep the ball rolling for the upcoming 2013 model year. While I should have more info later this month, I wouldn't expect many notable changes for the upcoming model year. New colors as always, a good possibility for the LED taillamps, and *maybe* the new 8-speed for V6 models.
