When to Rotate Tires

I have about 7000k on the all-season tires now and wondered when they should be rotated. I don't see any unusual wear but wanted to get an idea what others were doing.

Every oil change or two. I did my first rotation around 10k. I would of done it earlier but due to work related travels it was put off until I got home. I'd rather do the rotation myself. I plan on doing them at least every 10k miles or less.

Re: When to Rotate Tires

I rotate tires and change the oil every 5k but I don't drive a lot of distance so I consider my use to be extreme service (lots of around town, hard stop and starts and a lot of heat cycles per mile). If I did a lot of highway I would extend to 7500 miles on both.

Re: When to Rotate Tires

I change my oil once a year and rotate my tires twice. So around 7K for me.

I do mine every 5k same with the oil. At $460 a pop you can't do them too often.

Re: When to Rotate Tires

I've always done tire rotations AND wheel alignments every time I change my oil (5-7K miles).

You do an alignment every 5-7K? Must have your own machine or a large bank account
