Whistle coming from engine bay?

On most acceleration there is a whistle noise that comes from the engine bay, experience tells me its from a belt? How would I diag this issue and get rid of the noise? 2014 SRT, could it be coming from my BT catchcan?

Re: Whistle coming from engine bay?

Only whistle I have is from my intake. Do you have an aftermarket intake?

Re: Whistle coming from engine bay?

Are you talking about a sound that sounds like belt whine on acceleration? Both 2015's I've had did this...figured it was normal.

Re: Whistle coming from engine bay?

I have a whistle/whine as well under very hard acceleration, mostly launch control. I figured it was normal.

Re: Whistle coming from engine bay?

I've had cold air intakes on other vehicles that did this. My jeep does this with the stock intake/airbox. Nothing to worry about, but also something you're not really going to get rid of. It's part of the design and supposed to do that.

It's normal. My 2015 does it as well as the other one I test drove.

That silly Chrysler! They must have swapped a Hellcat motor in it while you were sleeping. Pop the hood and let us know

Re: Whistle coming from engine bay?

I've got a similar noise coming from mine that started 3-4 weeks ago, it sounds like a slight slip of tje drive belt bit the other day a was playing around with it and now it sounds like it may actually be the exhaust, thinking maybe the exhaust flaps, are there any side effects in welding these open?
