Re: White Letters on Altitude?

If you want the white letters on YOUR jeep do it. Never mind the negative connotations from some folks 😎

Re: White Letters on Altitude?

Just my opinion...

Personally, I don't care for white lettered tires, especially the outlined ones. They went out of style quite some time ago. I've always felt that they're a distraction that takes away from the look of the wheel. Since you have the black wheels on the HA there's no contrast between the tire and wheel so all you're going to notice is the white letters.

Not true.

Spray them with Black Magic Bleche Wite, give them a little scrub with a small, stiff brush and rinse. Takes about 5 minutes to do 4 tires.

Easy!

Very true ...the letters will start fading and cracking within the first few months.

Wrong again!

I've had 2 sets on my truck and the tread wore out and the white letters never did. If you take care of your stuff properly you would be amazed at how long things last and still look like new.

Sounds like you don't know me. I've had a set of white letters unintentionally on a previous Grand Cherokee and my father some vogue tires in the 90s on his Caddilac. Neither lasted long before showing age and fading. I never said they wore out completely but very noticeably aging to someone looking at them behind OCD eyes.

Honestly I didn't like the look of them new in the 90s so I don't know why anyone would consider them in 2016.

Then again there are people who still add Lambo door kits to their cars.
