Why do people mod their SRT?

Just curious why you would not leave it stock.....it is a truck and tow vehicle after all

Re: Why do people mod their SRT?

I think it is one of those things that if you have to ask you probably just wouldn't understand... it's a lifestyle choice, a hobby.

Re: Why do people mod their SRT?

No matter how rare something may be, lots of people don't want theirs to be identical to someone elses...

And subtle differences in taste makes people want to change things.

You know these ansers doc.... come on mate

I mod my race car, and my road cars, my boats, and yep, even my tow cars...... no harm in modding for the sake of modding Doc Hollywood

Re: Why do people mod their SRT?

Here are a few reasons

- They look awesome but they can look better with a little cosmetic work
- They have a great engine that with a few mods can be a real monster
- Owner enjoys customizing to their style
- They beat Porsches
- They can beat almost anything from a red light!

Re: Why do people mod their SRT?

I would never mod a late model vehicle in a manner that cannot be removed (exhausts etc are fine, keep the factory one!)

Painting body parts out that the factory doesn't do for cost reasons and everyone agrees are an improvement I see no problem with.

BUT, painting interior plastic trims or adding bright leather interiors.... I do draw the line there.
