You know how toyota has TRD (Toyota Racing Division) that offers bolt on superchargers for their toyota trucks? That'd be pretty damn sweet. And they offer a warranty through toyota on it, maybe a program like that for jeep, that'd be real sweet, and just another thing to generate a little revenue with!

Maybe adapt the MDS system from the chrysler 300C to the SRT8? I've never owned a SRT8 but I do have a 300C, and the MDS is a nice feature for fuel savings.

Also, I have a lot of female friends that drive luxury SUV's just because they're deemed "safer". Why are they called "safer"? Because they have three cameras. One on the front, one on the rear, one under the sideview mirror for curbside view. These cameras also incorporate proximity sensors. This shouldn't be standard, but it should be an option. Hell, when your stock wheels cost a couple thousand, im sure people wouldnt mind paying a little bit extra for a camera to help 'em while parking. And if you add that hitch, imagine how much easier it would be to hook up the hitch to something with a rear view camera. And the front view camera pretty much speaks for itself.

Another cool feature I've seen on the highend lexus trucks (the 570 series) is when you open the door, there's an illuminated door sill that says LEXUS .. perhaps one that says SRT8? A weird little thing, but it'd definitely be a cool add-on.

another random tidbit, my 300C has a feature in the EVIC, its like an easter egg that you can unlock and it tells you 0-60 times, and a buncha cool stuff, perhaps an evic easteregg for the srt8 wk2? :)

also this may sound cheesey, but why not just do a hitch package as an option, and also do side exit exhaust (slot style) as an option. You can pick the exhaust option independently but when you choose the towing package you have to get the side exit exhaust and you get a standard style hitch in the back with a body colored ABS hitch cover. If done right, that could look pretty sweet.

I've got high expectations for the WK2 SRT8. Re-done 4wd, 6.1, (hopefully a decent transmission), the always great appearance package from SRT, a 100% improvement in the interior, plus the fact that the WK2 will have hopefully had most of the first-year bugs worked out... dare I say, all factors considered($), it could be the best SUV we've seen!

I think this would be a smart move by Chrysler... and judging by the (random renderings we've seen), I'd bet on it. Not a side exhaust, but a traditional dual exhaust.

I mean, think about the guy who is towing a sport boat, or dirt bikes (not to mention just about anyone who tows)... I think that demographic would love to have a sporty SUV like the SRT8.

I dont understand wanting to tow with a Jeep SRT8? Get a Laredo...IMO
I have plenty of mates who tow their expensive race cars (for instance) with their high end SUV's.
If you have the money to buy an SRT, you probably have the money for some toys to tow as well. Whether it be boats, jet skis, snow mobiles, race cars, trail bikes........

I guess I don't see the reason why Jeep would want to turn their back on a large luxury SUV market just for the sake of having gimmicky centre exit exhausts.

Looks natural to me; :D

I think you're kinda missing the point of the SRT. Jeep already makes plenty of off-road capable vehicles.
