Re: WK2 SRT Tuning

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I know this is a clean install and actually won an award @ Moparfest PBIR. I have not seen any other boosted WK2 making the power or running the 1/4 mile that mine does. Have yet to see any TVS2300 do well. So to each their own. I'm happy!!! The twin turbo Chris is building is capable of making up to 1200hp with the right supporting mods. I'll be maxed out with my build without going up to a F1 when I'm done with the engine. But, I can still upgrade in the future if I want without any more major mods. There has been a very small market on the WK2's for boosting. People don't want to lose their warranties, or want to spend the extra money on the vehicle. So that's why you don't see a whole lot in my opinion. Also nobody really want's to be the first, and that's all understandable. If anyone has questions about building boosted vehicles I'll try to give them some answers. I've learned a lot since this has started, have not done any major mods in many years. And when I'm wrong about something, I'll admit it. I know what has failed and what works. I'm not going to get into a pissing match about Demon. They offered me a product that I was interested in and took the chance with them, and I'm happy.

Re: WK2 SRT Tuning

These posts were brought to my attention today and I had to step in to see what they are all about...I know this is not the way to start our membership here but we will formally introduce ourselves soon.

Would you like to see a Demon Performance vehicle that makes 650hp to 800hp? Take a cruise down to our shop this spring and we'll show you around the place, maybe we'll even give you some free Demon gear to leave with. Yes, we've only fabricated ONE supercharger kit in the history of our short existence, but can you please show me another shop that has started to produce their own supercharger kits and other products like we have? I can't think of many...in fact I can't think of ANY

Cobbled together? You must not have paid much attention to the build while it was going on. You may have seen some pictures of some hacked up pipe here and there but the fabrication process isn’t always pretty but the end results speak for themselves. We literally remade everything 3 or 4 times over before we were happy with our results. Jim was kind enough to give us his vehicle with a blind eye not knowing what could have been. The only reason we still have it is because he wants more, so we'll give him more. Not only did this product turn out great, but the people and other shops alike who have actually seen it with their own eyes have told us how well designed everything is and how well everything goes together compared to other superchargers systems out there.

Cobbled together? We are one of the few recognized companies that offers a third party kit for ProCharger and are one of their top distributors for HEMI kits and components.

Cobbled together? Then why are we getting national recognition by many top names through SEMA. Not only are we getting national recognition and interest on our WK2 kit, but we're also a part of other various projects that I'm not going to delve into right now. Shops worldwide are now waiting for the official release of our kit is all I can say.

Cobbled together? Then why would we be able to SAFELY and consistently make 11second passes when NO other WK2 has been able to achieve this yet? Why are the rest of the 392s blowing ringlands?

Cobbled together? No expense was spared when building this kit, hundreds of man hours and thousands of dollars that were not charged to the customer went into this all because we wanted to produce a product that anyone can enjoy without issue.

Cobbled together? We probably did 50 revisions in the tune before we were satisfied with the results, not only will our future customers get a great tune the first time, but they'll get unparalleled tuning support after the fact.

Cobbled together? Our bracketry is made out of 7075 aluminum, most companies use a lesser grade materials to save on costs.

Cobbled together? All of our piping in this kit is CNC mandrel bent aluminum vs the other guys that use piece after piece of steel that is welded together. You ever wonder why a turbo kit costs so much? Not because of the materials and parts used, it's all in the labor charges to build the kit. We cut that out and keep consistency in our manufacturing by contracting companies to make our tubing for us while maintaining top quality. In turn, allowing us to sell the kits for less than the other guys.

Cobbled together? We use all high quality hardware, high quality t bolts and all silicone couplers throughout. All of our filters on the kit are made specifically for Demon Performance by GREEN USA.

Cobbled together? Have you seen the products we use and sell on a regular basis? There’s a reason why we don’t sell certain brands, that’s because we don’t want our customers to have any headaches. Have you seen the products we're bringing to the market for the WK1 and WK2 crowds?

Yes, we only have one supercharger kit to offer the world right now, but we also have one turbo kit to offer too, come to think of it, we have some other one off things that we can offer up to the world...fuel systems that we've helped develop, drag wheels that are made for us exclusively, 2 piece brake rotors that are coming out soon for the ENTIRE SRT8 lineup made for us, not to mention other bits and pieces that we're constantly striving to bring forth for the HEMI community

Clearly you have some ill feelings towards us, we don't know why, but our normal business hours are from 9AM to 6PM EST Mon-Fri and you're more than welcome to call us any time during those hours @ 888.312.3666 to chat about it.

Re: WK2 SRT Tuning

Simple fact is, if you want to spend 20 grand or more and only make 500whp on your supercharged setup, that’s fine. I’m sure there are plenty of other companies out there that will cater to your needs… but if you want to take that same 20 grand and walk away with another 100+whp on top of that under your belt, give us a shout! We can make it happen.

It's not about you can make it happen or not, many tuners can make it happen. Its about & quality work that you offer, price and warranty.

One of the members here talked about his experience with Arrington and what they did to his WK2 and everybody knows who's Arrington.

What gain have he had from them ?

- Nothing, moreover,
- Paid 20k to them for +/- 100 hp.
- Was disappointed (shocked) of their work.
- Sold his car.
- bought a new car (GTR).

It's all a waste of money and time for nothing.

Definitely We don't want to be put in his place.

I guess you got my point don't you.

What I gathered from your post only served to prove my point even more. When a customer vehicle leaves our shop, our name and reputation rides in the passenger seat of that vehicle every day. So with that being said, our customers can drive away with the comfort of knowing no corners were cut and no steps were rushed in the modification of their vehicle. We love to see our customers, our friends swing by to say hey or come back because they have the need for more but we never want to see them back due to problems with our workmanship. Which is why we put our name on the fact that it WILL NOT HAPPEN! When it comes to this kit: The design is there, the research is there, the testing is there and it has proven itself not only on the dyno and the street but where it counts the most...The track!

Re: WK2 SRT Tuning

All this back and forth has made me decide to just forget a super charger / Turbo. Truth is it sounds like it will be a few years before a "Bolt on kit" with no headaches is ready for our trucks. Hear is what I think. For 20K we can get one of these *2014 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade* 200hp / 500 pounds! Just my opinion and the way I am probably going.

What headaches?

Our kit was designed for install and use sans headaches. Hence the amount of time and money invested in the R&D process.

Few Years?

Our kit is in production now and we are taking orders.

I can assure you this is not back and forth Steve. Our name and product were slandered here in this thread and some of our loyal customers thought it best we know about it. So we stepped in to clear the air. Nothing more, nothing less.

Re: WK2 SRT Tuning

Who is doing the tuning for you? This appears to be the problem with these trucks. NO one can tune them. Now I am not saying your not on the up and up but to date this is the problem. I have been around the block many of times with many cars and the one thing I have learned is I HATE HEADACHES. So for once in my life I am going to just sit back and wait to see how these kits play out.

Re: WK2 SRT Tuning

Johan Mangs from DiabloSport is doing all of our custom tuning on all our Hemi vehicles as well as the '12 and '13s WK2 kits currently, and he will also be doing the custom tuning on the '14 when it arrives in house as well. Jim's rig runs flawlessly when cruising around during normal day to day operations and runs like an angry machine WOT with zero issues. This is why we spent so much time on the tuning. Tuning a '14 won't be that much different then a '12 or a '13 is. New 8speed trans and a few new electronic features won't change the way the tune needs to be to make the engine run the way Jim's does.

Why don't you show us what you've got & tell us about your kit.

- Drivability
- Durability
- Is it daily use?
- Which model would the kit fits?
- What benefit Would I get from demon?

Simply, why should I go for demon performance not someone else ?

We want to see it by our eyes

Thanks
