Would anyone like to speculate what happened to my exhaust pipe?

There is no damage anywhere else except the crimping of one pipe? I have no idea what caused this. Should I replace it and wonder if I'm losing any significant performance bc of it?

It's normal, they all have it. Something to do with tool access to something above it etc. nothing to worry about 👍

I replaced my factory exhaust and it had this crimp too which is from the factory. Replaced it with the Borla S Cat back and noticed an immediate improvement in throttle response. Feels like it is sport mode, when in auto. It also sounds amazing.

I may just have the suitcase replaced, I'm not happy with the crimp whether it's factory or not. Kind of some ghetto engineering for such an expensive vehicle.

You'll definitely hear a difference in sound by just deleting the suitcase. Not sure of anything performance related though.

I live in Northern Va where emissions are every two years. I have a feeling it may not pass or maybe the inspectors may not even notice the difference.

I think as long as don't remove your cats you should be good to go. The suitcase is just there to reduce drone.

I agree. The corner cutting and ghetto engineering must be a prerequisite credential when FCA hires it's "engineers".

Pathetic to see for sure.
