Re: 2012 Urethane Replica Jeep SRT8 Body Kit conversion Coming Soon.

its a urethane(same as oem) copy of the SRT bumper made to incorporate onto the wk2 nonSRT. I would say it has the same crash safety as any urethane bumper......almost none....LOL. The only difference is the molding where the bumper meets the fender. I doubt Chad has sent it to the NTSB or whoever does that testing and had it crash tested....LOL.
FYI-all you need to do to turn off the oem DRL's....is pull the fuse or relay....whatever it is....LOL

I'll consider it. What about DRLs on Limiteds and Overlands, would those be on and also the LEDs with the new bumper? I wouldn't want them both running at the same time. How would I work around that so that the stock DRLs don't run, but he LED DRLs do? One more question, I notice the bumper has the headlight cleaners; will those be included? Don't really need them. I kind of wish you would make a bumper that incorporates the SRT LEDs and fog lights, but keeps the shape of the Limited/Overland bumper, just making it one complete piece and keeping the stock chrome at the bottom lip and not having that bottom lip like the SRT does. OK, one final question, how will this bumper perform in a collision compared to the stock bumper (and please support your statement with reasons why it will perform the same or better, if it does that is). Thanks.
Additionally, we'd like a birth certificate too. Long form.

are the holes for the sensors gonna be optional? they would be useless since my truck only has those on the rear bumper... by the way, Great Job. It looks awesome

No to the headlamp washers but yes to the parking sensors. I can't wait to put my name down for the group buy.

That is awesome. Not having to buy all the srt8 parts. If I have the wk2 I would buy one. Great work.

Re: 2012 Urethane Replica Jeep SRT8 Body Kit conversion Coming Soon.

A different perspective might be: How can I add the European headlight wipers to my vehicle?

Having pre-scored (from the rear) areas for the front parking-sensor holes is a good idea, as this Chrysler OEM package can be added to the vehicle (just one of many options I am considering).

All-in-all, I appreciate the effort that went into this mod. I look forward to having the option of purchasing it.
