Since Scott closed that thread without me responding figured I would address you since you want to make stuff up about me I deserve to tell my side because there are two sides.
I pay much more than you are claiming and so what I'm now a Bad guy if I run a business and make money? No one knows what I pay and I never told you period flat out Lie sorry. Wish I paid 500.00 a hood I'd be driving a Lambo.
I have never not done what I said in 6 years of business and I can let my customers speak for this I am the most honest guy you'll ever meet.
I never ship a hood complaint back Why? Reason is easy I will end up paying 400.00 For shipping both ways and then refund you? I can not trust that anyone will pack up a hood correctly and it will arrive to me in saleable condition. IMO much better cutting losses early. If you felt insecure enough to think I had some devious plan of ripping you off and making a large complex paragraph story up about me sorry. This is a rule that one of my MFG in California who has sold 1,000's of hoods has been doing with his customers for over 10 years. Cutting them up or running them over instead of shipping them back just works better for us. I've tried one time shipping a hood back against my MFG better words years ago and I lost the entire hood because it show up back at us in two pieces without a box lesson learnt that was a 1,500.00+ loss. Again Not a thing to do with trying to rip you off.
I did not yell at you on the phone. I simply told you they do not fit Diesel and you disagreed and told me you did not like the way I was talking to you, accusing me of calling you stupid or ignorant. Never happened. I even said on the phone, please do not put words in my mouth. I did cut you off yes.
I wanted to refund you in full, no problems, told you that from day one. Gave you a choice keep it, get a partial refund, full refund and or cutting it up or running it over your choice. What I don't understand.....why you had your OEM hood up for sale and where happy with mine until I called you out on the Diesel thread asking if you had a Diesel.
Fact! I sent you other emails that went unanswered for more than 24hrs. before the one you posted. I simply told you the hood did not fit your diesel truck your leaving stuff out bud. You still never replied to 3 emails sent instead you called me to argue while I was still trying to figure out if you did A,B or C with the coolant tank because you had a Diesel trying to figure things out for you all unanswered by you. From my point of view I was being extremely fair with you asking for honestly that was all I felt Duped yes unanswered emails and a Diesel that was email #3
You hung up the phone because you told me you where going to look into the coolant tank and let me know if it was hitting or not. I even offered to pay for a Body shop because these guys do things like adjust hoods every day and may be you missed something. Once again you put words in my mouth and said you think I'm dumb you think I can't adjust a dumb hood I'm not dumb. I stopped you again and said Please do not put words in my mouth I'm not calling you dumb just trying to help.
So, I'm not sure what the heck this post is supposed to prove. You want the hood or not? If not please run the dam thing over so I can refund you for the 3rd time. This method has nothing to do with me ripping you off or whatever it is you are trying to accuse me of. I think my customer base can speak for my customer service and honestly this is the first post in 6 years of negative feedback on the internet about me or my company. I take things like this serious and it could have been worked out off the net (thought that's what we where doing) instead of you making a bunch of hoopla up. I try to help everyone and make sure everyone is happy and still can't figure out what your problem is kinda weird honestly.
