$500 under invoice which was best I could around here.
I forget the exact numbers, but after adding taxes and fees, and subtracting the trade-in, I was out the door after writing a check for around $32,500.
Bought my Laredo 4x4 used with 23,000 miles on it. Was formerly an Enterprise rental vehicle, but it is in fantastic shape. Paid $23,400 for it.
I would have prefered a new one, of course, with the Off-Road I package or the All-Weather-Convenience packagae (read: QT2) but this one was a fantastic value and the right move for me.
I guess I dont understand that being an argument against leasing - tax is a sunken cost regardless of buy/lease. You pay less sales tax under a lease ....
maybe with purchase you only pay the difference of trade-in cost, assuming he traded something. Not sure if the same can be applied to a lease structure. Michigan does not work this way, but many states do.
