Whos gonna be the first to drop an EPIC build at JG?

I figure an EPIC build will get some cats and vendors rolling in here, so whos gonna be first? If you could now, what would your EPIC build be for a GC SRT8?

Mine would be an aluminum block 426 with TT, and of course drivetrain. PWR has a 468 aluminum block they will be selling once Mopar releases the aluminum blocks. Cant go FI on it, but thats a lot of NA cubes, pretty exciting IMO!

X2 on specs and build pix we've only seen results and Rob also has mentioned this in another thread as well

I wouldn't trust a 468 yet for reliable use and longevity. Now an aluminum 440...... :)

Yes Chris. Something like yours is truly EPIC! But what I meant was, Drop it here, soon, and exclusively to this site, no posts at the communist red site. By the way...... I aspire to use my warranty up and eventually build a beast in likeness to yours. Thank you for the mad hard work and persistance you have demonstrated and invested in your beast. Your ride is the pride of our community!

My thoughts too, however I do drool over those cubes. Andy said its only a 50lb weight savings with an aluminum block. That seems very conservative! twin turbo aluminum 440, stuff dreams are made of!

I have a block ready to be worked over but not sure of the plans yet...392, 426 or 431. Then do I run low compression on it for a while then drop a S/c or TT or higher compression and keep it NA?

But before that I would like to know what the best time is for a NA 6.1, I read before its an 11.92 or so by Mike Leavy and then thought there was an 11.8X also. I would like to try go after that.

Whatever the route is it will be mentioned on the "blue site":D before any "red shite...oops site"

Chris I think you are right on those N/A 6.1 times, If I remember correctly There was only a couple Beasts that would do it consistently though, I think one was Keoni and cant remember the other. At any rate if you could do that and consistently, it would be badass for sure!

Keep to the 392 or 426 if you plan on going FI. Many vendors are no longer selling the 440 as there are to many problems with them. The aluminum blocks will not be out for another 30 to 60 days. Weight difference I have seen are between 85 and 95lbs and bore size can be up to 4.185.
