My '06 WK Install

Finished up my install on my Jeep and thought I would share. I have all MB Quart speakers up front and 2 12" Kicker Comp CVR subs in the back. Kicker amps and a Rockford Fosgate 10 farad cap, all with 0 gauge wire. Out side of the truck I paint the rails black, mesh grill inserts, blacked out LED tail lights, and SRT8 springs. Let me know what you think.....

yea, i built the box using MDF and fiber glassed the top. I'm thinking of changing it around towards the end of summer though.

What do u want to change? How do u Luke the mb quarts? Those are my top 3 mids/tweets by far if not my favorite. Do u think I could add another 500 watt 4ch amp to my 2 guage main power lead ( I have a distance bock) or would I need to run 0 gauge? I think I might be ok but thoght i'd check since it looks like u know your $hit :)

I'm thinking of changing the box so I can put a speaker grill over the subs and make it look a little smoother. I like the MB Quarts, but their not loud enough for me, in the the Jeep. My old car they were fine, but they don't sound that great in the Jeep. I'm thinking of checking out some JL's or something. I think you would be fine with th 4 channel on the 2 gauge power cable. The worst thing that will happen is you'll notice dips in hard hits on the sub because it can't pull enough power, and if that's the case then would need 0 gauge. Let me know if your looking for 0 gauge because i found an amazing deal on the web for a 0 gauge Kicker set for like $70 (instead of $200).

The amps get a little warm but a cool trick I learned years ago is to use peg board with carpet over it, it will let the amps vent better. They haven't cut out yet due to heat, if they do I'll add a fan in there to draw air down through the peg board and circulate.
