Eaton M112 extended snout info?

I've been looking into AirRam's intake adapter and doing an 03-04 eaton M112 supercharger on my 02 4.7. I sent AirRam an email, but haven't heard back wasn't sure if they are still on here or not. So I figured I would ask you guys if you have any info that would help me out. I know the supporting mods needed for this, I just need some help lining the pulley's up and would like to know if SCT offers a tuner that I can tune with myself, something similar to an AEM EMS.

I think I actually just found the answer to one of my question on another site. I guess this place makes an adapter http://www.magnusonproducts.com/

I still would like to know about the tuner abilities?

Re: Eaton M112 extended snout info?

your gonna have to have the input shaft milled down about 1/8" to line up, then a kenne bell 6 rib pulley will mount right up. To solve the belt routing.......a $39 dollar idler from kenne bell will do the trick if it is machined down 1/8-1/4 inch.
On the WJ...your gonna have to grind down the back of the ac compressor, grind the adapter from air ram on one side, cut down the alternator bolt, grind the tab and some extra metal off of the lower intake manifold, have the intercooler adapter custom fabricated (pretty much cut in half with a new nipple added), cut the firewall, cut part of the wiper linkage (will clear but wipers still will not work without some more modification)

Thanks for the info man, I'm trying to not be a noob on here and search as much as I can. But I really didn't find anything on this setup on the grand cherokee, just on ram's and Dakota's and AirRam hasn't responded, are they still around?

Re: Eaton M112 extended snout info?

That's the info I've been looking for, I figured it wouldn't be a direct bolt on, it never is lol. I emailed that guy about SCT, so hopfully I hear back soon. How much of the firewall needs cut out? I'm not asking for exact, just a lot or a little? So I shouldn't go through the company I posted to move the pulley? I emailed them, I didn't try calling yet, but I will monday, thanks for the info:thumbsup:

the magnuson company looks promising by the way...but your gonna have to get the parts installed and then take some measurements to figure out if one of their setups will work

Re: Eaton M112 extended snout info?

Yea, I actually found out about them from another forum where AirRam posted. I need to talk to them, I'm sure they will know which one is needed. I knew it wasn't going to be simple lol, I just started reading about it the other night and found a charger for $350 and was hoping it wouldn't be to difficult

Here's a link where AirRam posted http://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen-...r-a-4-7-a.html

"the magnuson company" is actually the only legit Eaton reseller in the US. Magnuson is Eatons aftermarket wing.

Re: Eaton M112 extended snout info?

Not true anymore Mike. Magnuson is an independant company that is liscenced to sell Eaton rotor sets to the aftermarket. They are not part of Eaton in anyway. They are big in the GM aftermarket and have done a few Ford kits (04+F150 5.4L 3V, 05+ Mustang, 2.0 Zetec Focus) and are currently expanding into the Hemi market.
