Front Driveshaft Lubrication

Hey guys, just wanted to see if anyone could help me out here... Recently had a TERRIBLE squeaking problem, ended up having it diagnosed as a messed up pinion bearing in the front differential. Put in all new bearings and was about to put the tires on when we rotated the front driveshaft to make sure the bearings didn't feel too tight. As we turned it, it made an awful clicking sound, so we pulled it off. It's one of the ones that has a U-joint on the front and a double cardigan on the side where it goes into the transfer case. We replaced it with a used one that was cleaned up with some strong solvents from one of my buddies Jeep's, and problem was fixed, no more squeaking (thank God). Only question i have is, there are no grease fittings on the driveshaft (there was no grease fittings on my old one either), but is there some way I'm supposed to grease or lube it up, like cover the U-joints in grease or anything like that or what? Lol i drowned both ends of it in WD-40 just for the hell of it, but have a feeling there's something beyond that I'm supposed to do here. Any help is GREATLY appreciated! Thanks ahead of time

Those are a sealed bearing, so the downside is you can't grease them. Be careful using solvents that you don't flush the grease that is in them, out. There are several types of aerosol greases on the market that with a good spray nozzle may work for you. Good luck.
