Bwoody link bolts

Hi all,

I am considering buying Bwoody links.

Even though I have an SRT8, the early export SRT8s had the same rear links as the other WKs, which is why I post here.

I have fat 315 tires in the rear and the Bwoody links are a bit wider than the stock ones, which could make the OEM or provided Bwoody bolts rub the tires (upper bolt)...
I have read about "low profile" bolts and would like to order some at the correct specs (length, width and grade).

Does anyone knows the bolts specs please?
Thanks in advance,

Thanks a lot for the quick answer, Rob!

More and more parts of my truck depend on information that you provide!! ;)

I had seen this thread but I would like to know the length of the bolts. If the two bolts provided by Bwoody are the upper rear ones, the spec is mentionned in the document provided by Bwoody and pictured (but not clear enough for me to read it...).

Thanks for the offer to crawl under your truck. No hurry in any case!

I have no problems with the 315s and the regular bolts.

Re: Bwoody link bolts

what you srt8 guys are missing is that Jan has an export model that came with the small tires. it also came with the same rear sway set up as the WK.

hence the specific questions.......

Jan they are 3 inch. i had kept the instructions.

1/2 x 3 inches. and recommends 90ft lbs for those.

and I recommend LOTS of grease.

now that i think about it, on both models that bolt WILL Be in almost the same location. but our sways are straight and srt8 are offset IIRC.

if you have the same rear set up as the wk...then you cant use the SRT rear links. You need the non-srt links

Exactly. And I have 10.5" wide rear rims with fat-for-a-315 Bridgestone Duellers that currently just clear the stock links.

Correct. I asked Bwoody and they recommended the non-SRT links as well. Now that I think about it, I should have asked them directly for the bolt dimensions... duh...
Thanks to all for your input.
