Having the hitch lower is sweet. I have the factory hitch that Jeep provides in the hemi, and to pull my boat or camper, I need to use a reciever with an 8" drop

Its a pain in the ass, and frankly and 8" drop is a little extreme

Hmm... Thats some good thoughts... I was going to cut the bumper. Do either of you have a pic so I can see what it looks like? Thanks

Re: Hitch questions

I used the same aftermarket hitch from etrailer since I didn't want to cut the bumper. It's a snap to install.

Since were talking about hitches and I dont remember if I asked this already, Ive got the puny factory class 2 hitch and I want to upgrade to a class 4 with a 7 pin harness, do I need to get a class 4 hitch from a wk or would an aftermarket work just as well? Thanks

Hey yea if its not much trouble could you get a rear shot lower down with out the receiver in? I just want to see the look just day to day.
