Spot/floods IN the grill

Thoughts and opinions.

I want some extra lighting when i go out and play :) Looking to get:

or

Im not yet going to get a brush guard or roof rack. Im saving up for other things. BUT I have seen someone mount some INSIDE of their grill and it looks pretty sweet.

Whatca think? Rad going to put off too much heat? Lights going to prevent enough air flow?

Ive seen one other Jeep like this...but no idea if they will get hot etc. I would think locating them behind the grill may alter light output and beam pattern. Just a guess though.....

Re: Spot/floods IN the grill

Ive seen about 4 WKs on Jeeps Unlimited like this and in town i see alot of Dodge Rams and F150s with them so i assume by the popularity of this setup they must work ok. But i would not waste my time with cheap driving/fog lights. Id deff go for some nice high quality long range lights like KC Slimline long range driving lights or the IPFs or similar. Maybe even some Nice HID lights. But all of them get hot so make sure there is air space in front the lenses.
