noob, first problem help please :)

I just purchased my 05 4.7L and it has 80k miles. well when i finally drove at night and realized that the climate control lights are not lit up. The information center lights are on, and the lights below are on (the snow flake ac light).

I know that the bulbs are common to burn out in the wk. Could it possibly be a fuse? if it is burnt out, do i get the bulbs from radio shake that iv seen posted on here? how hard would it be or me to replace?

sorry for the terrible questions, this is my first jeep and its my first week.

if you have a little bit of experience with soldering, u should be OK with buying LEDs and replacing them..Good luck!

i will have to look into that right now.. if i could figure out what to search for ahah

when i decide to buy, i just pull the old ones out and put new ones in their spot? seems more difficult than that

Re: noob, first problem help please :)

one last question before i head to radio shake to get the bulb and make the repair.... all the lights are green, but i found a topic saying to use RS part # 272-1154 12v- 50mA Bi Pin lamp 5000hr. These are clear, shouldnt I be using green?

lastly, should the cruise control lights on steering wheel be lit up?
