HIDs in a Liberty (not a write up, just pics)

Put in my HIDs this afternoon (6000K BTW). I just took it out for a few miles in a city setting with some areas of total darkness. Output is not great but better than stock. The cut off seams more controlled in this car than it was with my ZJ. The photos that I took was with my cell phone so it is kind of crappy but I promise that better pics will come late tonight or tomorrow afternoon.

1) Low beam on and fog lights on. The fog lights on this car put out the type of output that my OEM head lights put out but it is aimed a little lower and have a wider output. Ether which way I'm happy to have a car with a useful fog light for once.

2) High beam on fog lights off, low beam off. Don't get it confuse, I do have only one bulb that serve the duty of both my high and my low beams but I ordered the hi/lo kit which acts just like my OEM lights. I really didn't care for the look of the high beams but it really lit up the street that I was on that didn't have any streetlights.

3) Fog lights on only. No HIDs, just a pic to show how bright the fogs are.

I forgot to take a picture of my low beams only but I'll make sure to get it when I have a real camera to work with.

Just for shits and giggles, my ZJ when I had 10000K in them

I posted 3 sets of pics. The 1st one is of the liberty, the 2nd one is of my old Grand Cherokee, and the 3rd one is of the liberty.

How bad is the glare on stock reflectors with HID's in them? Did you have to change the elevation of the lights any? Im thinkin about going back to stock housings but keeping the HID system.

It has just as much glare as a car with HIDs in it stock. Nobody has flashed me or anything. Its almost like the reflectors were made for HIDs. But I also think that the hi/lo bulb has something to do with the output. One half of the light is for low beams and the other half is for high beams. Now if I pop on my high beams, it would blind every on coming driver within 100 miles . This is the 1st time that I've seen an HID system not look "bad" in a stock housing. I didn't have to change elevation on it at all, its perfect. I just hope that when it snows, I don't see every single snow flake that is falling.
