265/35/22..... who is running this tire size on your wk.....what is your psi? im running 38 all around (claims 40 on TPMS) is this too much? max for the tire is 50#'s ?? help anybody

I run 285/35/22 and run 42psi cold. Have done for 30,000 miles bro and the rubber is still going strong ;)

Marlin is wrong he doesn't know what he's talking about he over inflated his tires.. uneven wear. Never listen to him again.

kidding aside, i have 20's but my neighbor has 22 and the tire place put 42, told him if it was harsh he could even go a touch more. and they told him max of 50.

^^^ exactly.

If you under-inflate wide tires like 265, 285 etc, you will wear the edges quite badly and quickly.

Yes, they ride better at 38, but 42 to 45 is best for the tire. (and economy).

so more air in a low profile tire softens the ride? :confused:

No, he means if the road wash harsh, ie, to protect the wheel.

No rub really, had it once or twice with brand new tread, but not enough to leave a mark......

I'm about 2 inches lower.
