plastic trim removal on laredo?

as some know i want to get a WJ in a few months but i have this question. With the laredos, can i remove the platic moldings and bumpers and put on bumpers and side moldings from say a Limited? do they sell bumper/molding kits for such a mod?

i just dont like the plastic look on the laredos which steers me away from getting one, but if i can do this then i wouldnt have a problem gettinga laredo.

thanks guys!

anyway, i had my laredo cladding painted to match but i bought a limited style front bumper (because i like the smoother shape) and it just bolted right up no problems. They dont sell kits so what youll have to do is either paint them like i did or find a few wreckers and snag the decent pieces off and have them body matched

there was an andrew that did it, i found the thread last night.

thanks to you andrew for your help. im definitly going to look into doing this. my cousin does body work for a living so im sure he would do it for me. when i look around for jeeps i find laredos for cheaper than Limiteds so thats why im looking into this. also andrew where did you get your SRT reps/tires. I just talked to an ebay store and they said the tires i would need are $400-$500..thats nuts

$400 - $500 worth of tyres?!

I feel he may be right. I'm looking into SRT reps for my WJ and I'll need all new tyres at around 90 per tyre so it adds up

for my reps and tires i paid close to 1500 shipped to my house, ready to mount, bought them from a guy named doug who works at factory reproductions (the company that makes the wheels)
