Introducing FRP "Beyond Ported" Throttle Bodies

On August 1, 2010, I will begin taking orders for the new FRP BPTB's, short for Beyond Ported Throttle Bodies. These TBs are now CNC'd for a true and precise bore. Then the inlet is ported further into a bellmouth for maximum airflow.

To put it bluntly, this is a max-effort piece, the absolute most you can get out of a stock throttle body casting. If you want more airflow you're looking at spending 400 bucks on a F&B 72mm TB, in the case of a 4.7. In the case of a Hemi, you're looking at one of the BBK units or an Arrington unit....which are not cheap. 3.7 guys.....this is the cream of the crop right here.

These BPTB's incorporate new aluminum blades, new hardware, and milled TB throttle shafts.

I am still working on the Hemi and Plastic TBs.....they require a little more work than the older cable TBs.

ALL PRICES include the core being shipped back to me. If you choose not to ship the core, I will charge a fee to be determined later.I am doing this in good faith, I expect everyone to return their old core in a timely manner.

3.7 CABLE TBS ONLY BPTB= 180 shipped

4.7 JTEC (99-03) BPTB= 180 shipped
Comparison between a stock 68mm 4.7 and a FRP 70mm BPTB.

4.7 NGC (03-07) BPTB= 180 shipped

5.7/6.1 TB= Call

3.7/4.7 Plastic TBs= Call

In addition, I will also offer the "Beyond Ported" treatment to anyone who has an earlier version of a FRP TB. With the upgraded TBs there will be a slight "lip" where the bore meets the port work, but this will not affect performance.

3.7 BPTB Upgrade: 65 shipped
4.0 BPTB Upgrade: 60 shipped
4.7 BPTB Upgrade: 65 shipped
5.7 BPTB Upgrade: Call

I reserve the right to change pricing at any time.

I have an agreement with one of my customers on the backlog that he will be dyno-testing with one of our new bored units.

Upgrade is 60, I'm not sure yet on a from-scratch unit.

Right now I only have pics of 4.7 TBs, both a from-scratch unit and an upgrade. All the electronic TBs are still in "R&D". I have someone sending their 3.7 plastic core to my machinist hopefully in the next few days.

More progress in the last few days, a 4.0 core has come in , as well as another 4.7 to be upgraded. A 3.7 is in too. Looks like we'll be able to make the 3.7 TBs 67-68mm at the blade, or about the same size as a stock 4.7 TB.
