LED "Shadow" lighting

Here are some pics (In the rain!) of my latest mod. I bought some of the Ebay Led strip lights from Blinglights
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...3430&viewitem=

And installed them when I baked and painted my headlights black. My idea was more of a "mood" lighting than the Audi look, so I affixed the LED strips to the front plastic housing ( the one I painted black) inside the housing, so the LEDs shine down into the low and high beam reflectors instead of being directly visible. I then cut the parking light circuit of the wiring going to the front parking light bulbs so they only work as Hazards/turn signals I then wired the LEDs into the parking light circuit. It is hard to get good pictures of them as the camera seems to make them brighter than they are. They are pretty bright, definitely noticeable, but still much dimmer than the head/fog lights.

Looking at the fogs and the reflections on the ground you can see the difference in brightness. You can also see I need some HID bulbs for my fogs lol.

These are the daylight pics, where I have the LEDs, they can not be seen from any angle, if you ever had your lights apart, the LEDs are mounted to the bottom of the plastic shroud, just above the gap between the shroud and the reflectors for the headlights.

Oh so you hid the led's behind the housing just so that you only see the light it reflects not the LED's themselves? Looks sharp!!! I like that alot!!!
