The wire is brown and light blue and is in the first harness from the front!

Re: mds light
How can I add a light in my cabin to show when MDS is engaged? I know how to do the mechanical work, I just don't know what needs to be done. IE: Do I solder the lights negative connection to the MDS wire and connect the positive connection to my battery?

I came up with this mod. for the LX's back in 05. The wiring for the WK is exactly the same, but the install is actually easier. Here's the install info. for the LX under my LXForums screen name, magnuman:

On the WK the PCM/TCM is also in approximately the same location, but there is a wire pass-through just behind it. It dumps in behind the glove box. It's easy to route the wires to where you want to mount the light. On the WK I used a Radio Shack green LED instead of the lighted on/off switch I used on the LX. I've never turned it off like I initially thought I might. Here's a pix of where I mounted mine.

Re: mds light
Stumbled on this thread and planning on doing this this weekend. I just picked up a 12v green LED with built in resistor from RS. Did I get the right part?

Yes, that'll work. I'd have traded you jobs this weekend. I installed a Sidewinder cam in my Magnum. Did the same to the Jeep back in October. Never again.....I hope.
