rims, under the hood, rear spoiler
anyone have any input on cosmetic changes to the SRT?

ive seen the rear spoiler, but not too fond of it,
ive seen some crazy under the hood pics, but who has the money to invest in superchargers
can someone suggest a better looking antenna?

i want to paint my rims, but cant find a good powder coating place that doesnt charge less than 400 a rim. the link below is of how i would like to paint my rims, leaving the SRT emblem in silver, not painted black
(ps i apologize for posting someone else's car/webpage. if this is not allowed, please let me know)

i spent less than 150 on 5 billet parts from billettechnology. and you'll need a catch can from them to, so for about 250 delivered you can add the pop of all that biilet under thehood.

thats not in the budget, then get youself some dupli-color metalcast and paint the underhood bits. that paint looks almost like anodized.

paint one part under the hood. paint eh overflow tank. 25 bux for materials and some of your time.

there are a gabilion things you can do under the hood that doeant involve superchargers.

budget and time are prolly the drivers. imagination and a bit of balls too.

good luck with whatever you do bro. make it yours.

Re: rims, under the hood, rear spoiler
thanks man

i'll mention what i have already:

1. bwoody 4" intake, long pipe down to catch the most cold air
2. catch can & billet tech dress up kit
3. diablosport predator tuner
4. borla s-type aggressive exhaust (which sounds crazy)
5. jet 180 degree thermostat (which i havent installed yet, and its been really hot in NY)
6. lockpick system - disables navigation security, allows you to watch dvds or play ps3/xbox, enables the viewing of my front camera, which activates at under 8 miles an hour to assist in parking
7. blacked out taillights and rear fog lights, along with the rear fog wire harness

what i would like to do to my truck:

1. i was thinking of getting the larger arrington throttle body, but i dont know if it is worth the money right now, plus i havent really modded the truck in a major way, so i figure the stock throttle body is fine for now
2. powder coat my rims
3. aftermarket hood, probably murf's hood, i think that should of have been the hood straight off the line

Re: rims, under the hood, rear spoiler
you can paint your strut bar pretty cheap. Maybe match it up with your Bwoody CAI and the billet tech stuff

oh i thought you were new at this

sorry for posting lots of stuff you already had. from the earlier post I was thinking you were starting freash. apologies.

i did my coolant tank and strut bar, the intake tube all in body color which is mineral gray, then i did the BT kit in blue.
