Re: SRT front sway bar

the srt bar is solid, the WK bar is hollow. the rear bar is a PITA to remove and fit the new one.

Do you happen to know the weights of the two bars?

Re: SRT front sway bar

Re: SRT front sway bar

I'm just wondering about the "SRT8" bar I got, which was only 1.5 pounds heavier than the stock bar. I thought it'd be heavier.

These are my measurements:
Standard WK ('09 Overland) front sway bar: 22.0 lbs, 33.338 mm
SRT8/XK (52090154AG) front sway bar: 23.6 lbs, 34.131 mm

Re: SRT front sway bar

addco fornt = 26.9
stocker frt = 22.6..5

i weigh bare bars.

the addco could be great for CURLS.

Re: SRT front sway bar

I didn't feel much of a difference from the WK to the SRT front sway. The rear was heavier.

Re: SRT front sway bar

agreed nate. the diff in the rears is bigger than the fronts.

i had the addco for a bit and that was much stiffer than the srt8 ine i have on now. the addco CLUNKS.

but with bilsteins, bwoody links, and srt8 bar, I have a much better ride in every way over OEM.
if i would do the springs in the front WOWOWOWOW.

Re: SRT front sway bar

oh ok, sounds like I got the right bar.

I went with an Addco rear but opted for the SRT front bc of the shitty fit of the front Addco.

Yeah next for me is to get the bilsteins and SRT springs in.

exact set up I have JDub. NO CLUNKS. addco says they fixed the bar...they are full of it.

in the rear i used ES greasable bushings too. the front are factory srt8.

to really tighten the lateral sway, consider the bwoody links. tey can squeak if you dont keep the greased but they really make a difference.

yeah they are. I basically helped Addco "fix" their first version, which Kolak sold to me. Because of how I helped Addco, they told me to return my old bar to Kolak and get a refund because they'd give me a new one. He wouldn't accept my old bar though, he said to keep it. WTF am I supposed to do with it? Now it's just sitting in my basement lol

This was the first bar. The second one I got was better but not perfect.

yup, same here on the greasables. I added a 90 fitting on the driver's side so I could actually get to it.

My lift came today, which came with new endlinks so I'll see how those are before I think about upgrading. I also got front Billstein struts (and Superlift/Billstein rears). I can't wait to get it all on
