For that cost, are they going to modify the computer system to prevent you from getting all the codes??? Why are you doing this...it's generally irresponsible!

i wont get any codes ive read other forums and if i do get a CEL theres a cheap way to fix it and its not irresponsible because i like to have my car running faster and louder

That's no excuse for the added pollution you'd be generating. Regardless of your location, or your intentions, get with the program! Look into high flow cats!

You will not pass emissions/ inspection in NJ. You may or may not run into O2 sensor issues. When I ran no precats , I did not trip any CELs, but it is luck of the draw.

To be quite honest with you, those precats are not nearly as much of a restriction as you think. The size of piping aft of the precats, the Y-merge, the main cat, and the muffler are all greater restrictions. Take it from someone who has gone through 6 or 7 different exhaust setups, AND lives in your state. You should check out my truck in person , if anything, before you go spend money, potentially causing yourself alot of hassle later down the road.

If you are anywhere near the Trenton area, drive to this place and talk to them about an exhaust system that will flow and still be proper:

Sleepy bro, do you suggest taking the CAT right after the muffle off completely or replacing it with a high flow CAT for best performance?

It's easier just to replace with a metallic high flow cat, no emissions drama and there is no discernable difference in performance

sleepy, do you recommend replacing the precats or just the main cat? After I get your TB installed I want to get less restriction in the exhaust.
