Sounds for both cars

I'm looking to upgrade my radio in my Camaro. I love the bose sound system and don't want to mess with it but want to change my radio so I can have a aux jack for my cell phone. I was looking around and was looking at the JVC at Best Buy. Is this a good radio or should I look around? Also, were can I go to get a interface for my bose sound system?

I'm also looking at adding a sub for my Liberty. I was looking to have this Atrend sub box to house this dual sub wolfer and have it powered by a dual amp. Is this a good set up, I'm not looking into nothing crazy since I don't want to change my other speakers. And how would I go about adding the amp too my radio?

Well in terms of headunit I would personally stick with Alpine or Pioneer but thats just me. That JVC headunit looks pretty good though, 2.5V preamp output isn't bad.

What does the preamp do?

To be honest I don't know the exact definition of it  but the higher the volts, the better the overall sound and noise resistance. I think it helps quality of sound through the speakers.

you can always add a linedriver to increase preout voltage
